Wydad was crowned the Moroccan League champion for the 21st time in its history, after winning 2-0 at its host Mouloudia Oujda, in the 27th round of the competition.

Wydad international striker Ayoub Al Kaabi and Yahya Attia Allah scored the double, in the 65th and 91st minutes of the match.

By this, Wydad secured the restoration of the title that it lost last season in favor of its traditional rival, Raja, 3 rounds before the end.

The win raised Wydad’s tally to 63 points, 11 points more than Raja, its closest rival, a difference that is impossible to make up for with the remaining matches of this season.

In another match, the Confederation’s champion, Raja, achieved a great and important victory over Moghreb Tetouan, 4-1, in the matches of the same round.

With this victory, Raja came close to securing the second place in the CAF Champions League next season.

The players of Maghreb Tetouan were keen to establish an honorary corridor for the elements of Raja, on the occasion of their winning of the African Confederation title at the expense of Algeria’s JS Kabylie, with a 2-1 victory, last Saturday night.

Raja’s goals were opened by Ben Malango from a penalty kick in the 3rd minute, before Maghreb Tetouan equalized by Anas Lamrabet in the 48th minute.
