Philips announced the launch of the new 498P9Z curved monitor, which aims to meet the requirements of gaming enthusiasts.

The Dutch Philips explained that its new 498P9Z screen comes with a 48.

8-inch VA panel, with a resolution of DQHD, and an image activation rate of 165 Hz, with support for DisplayHDR 400 technology.

Philips is promoting the new curved gaming screen with a resolution of DQHD (5120 x 1440 pixels) and a density of 109 pixels per square inch and comes with an aspect ratio of 32:9 and a radius of curvature of 1800R.

Philips meets the demands of gaming enthusiasts with an image refresh rate of 165Hz, a gray-to-gray response time of 4ms, support for Adaptive Sync technology, DisplayHDR 400 technology and a brightness of 550cd/m2.

The new curved screen has a sRGB color gamut of 122%, DCI-P3 color gamut of 91% and AdobeRGB color gamut of 89%, and a blue-light filter and flicker-free backlight keep the eyes on eye during long hours of gaming sessions.

The technical equipment package of the new Philips curved monitor includes two internal 5-watt speakers with a KVM switch, in addition to the availability of three HDMI 2.
