Today, Sunday, the temporary capital of Aden, the championship competitions of the deceased Khaled Saleh Hussein, for the champions of the governorates, organized by the General Chess Federation, with the support of the Youth Welfare Fund, during the period from 6 to 11 July, with the participation of teams (Aden, Lahj, Abyan, Al-Dhalea, Shabwah, Hadhramout Al-Wadi, Hadhramout Al-Sahel, Al-Mahra, Taiz, Marib).

In the individual competitions in the 12-year category, the player Ali Abdullah Abdul-Qader from Abyan governorate won the first place, while the player Ali Abdullah Ali from Shabwa governorate won the second place and Abdo Sabri from the Aden governorate won the third place.

In the 16-year category, the player Hossam Al-Din Abdul-Hakim, from Aden Governorate, won the (first place), the player Ishaq Fouad Bin Fadel, from Hadramout Al-Wadi (second place), and the player Bashar Ahmed Faraj, from Shabwa Governorate (third place).

In the 20-year category, the player Khaled Walid Al-Ammari, from Aden governorate, won the first place, the player Haidara Muhammad Hussein, from the Abyan governorate, the second place, and the player Abdul Raouf Yahya Alwan, from the Marib governorate, the third place.

In the adult category, the player Saleh Al-Aqrabi, from Al-Mahra Governorate, won (first place), the player Hussein Haybak, from Hadramout Al-Sahel (second place), and the player Fouad Mufleh, from Marib Governorate (third place).

As for the results of the teams only, Aden governorate got first place, Abyan came second, and Hadramout Al Sahel came third
