Colombia goalkeeper David Ospina celebrated his top international cap on Saturday with two saves in penalty shootouts to give Colombia a win over Uruguay and a place in the Copa America semi-finals.

Ospina participated in his 112th cap in Saturday’s match in Brasilia and played the title role after saving two attempts from Jose Maria Jimenez and Matías Peña.

Colombia scored their first four kicks after a tense encounter in Brasilia that ended in a 0-0 draw after 90 minutes.

Uruguay started the tournament without scoring, and although they scored two goals against Bolivia and another against Paraguay in their two matches last week, they did not play comfortably in attack, and Luis Suarez and Edinson Cavani did not get much support.

Colombia also appeared to be missing suspended midfielder Juan Cuadrado and neither side showed much calm in a match full of faulty passes and sluggish play.

But neither of them managed to score, and after the regular time ended without goals, the match went directly to penalty kicksColombia, who won the title once in 2001, meet the winner of the other quarter-final match on Saturday between Argentina and Ecuador.

who

believes he is the star of the show.

Chile lost 1-0 to Brazil, who played with 10 men since the 49th minute, after Gabriel Jesus was sent off for a violent intervention on Eugenio Mina.

Brazil was ahead with a goal by Lucas Paqueta at the beginning of the second half and Chile went in search of a draw, but their hopes ended against a team that knew how to waste timeVidal said: “We are very sad and we deserved moreIn a match like this we need a fair referee and he doesn’t want to be a clown.

We lacked a target,

he addedWhen there’s a referee who doesn’t make you play and stops the game all the time and thinks he’s the star of the show, things get very difficult.
