Wimbledon: Murray v Shapovalov after Evans beaten – watch, listen & follow text

  1. While Andy Murray had to fight his way through an exhausting five sets against Oscar Otte, Canada's Denis Shapovalov enjoyed a much, much easier route to the third round.

He couldn't have had it any easier, in fact, as he was handed a walkover against Spain's Pablo Andujar.

The 10th seed did, however, contest a five-setter in his opening match, eventually prevailing against Germany's Philipp Kohlschreiber 6-4 4-6 6-3 5-7 6-4 in three hours and 35 minutes.

  2. I wonder what Andy Murray has in store for us this time.

The two-time Wimbledon champion fought back to win a thrilling five-set contest against German qualifier Oscar Otte 6-3 4-6 4-6 6-4 6-2 on Wednesday.

The 34-year-old began to look a little weary as Otte won the third set for a 2-1 lead, before darkness forced the pair off court.

But with the crowd behind him, Murray pulled off a stunning recovery to reach the third round.

And there, tonight on Centre Court, he faces Canadian 10th seed Denis Shapovalov.
