The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced the selection of Morocco to host the final of the current edition of the African Champions League.

During the CAF Executive Office meeting, which was held today in the Rwandan city of “Kigali”, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) settled in Morocco, to host the Champions League final.

The highly-anticipated final will be held in Morocco on July 17th.

The Cairo International Stadium in Egypt hosted the final of the last edition of the African Champions League between Al-Ahly and Zamalek, a match that the Red Team won 2-1 last November.

As for the stadium that will host the final of the current version of the Confederation Cup, CAF has decided to play in the city of “Cotonou” in Benin.

In addition, the Executive Office has chosen Egypt to host the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations in 2023 as well as the African Women’s Champions League this year.

Algeria was chosen to host the U-17 Nations Cup in 2023, while Mozambique will host the Beach Soccer Nations Cup in 2022
