UFC 261 brings back the return of full capacity crowds with three championships on top of the marquee.

The UFC returns for its first event with a full capacity crowd since the pandemic, as UFC 261 takes place from VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Fla. on Saturday night.Three championship fights highlight the event, with a highly antiicipated rematch between welterweight champion Kamaru Usman and BMF champ Jorge Masvidal serving as the main event. Also, Valentina Shevchenko defends the women's flyweight title against former strawweight titlist Jessica Andrade and Zhang Weili looks to successfully defend the strawweight belt for the second time when she takes on former 115-pound titleholder Rose Namajunas. Usman and Masvidal met a little less than 10 months ago at UFC 251, with the former retaining his title via unanimous decision. Masvidal took the fight on less than a week's notice after Gilbert Burns tested positive for COVID-19. In the aftermath of UFC 251, Masvidal felt if he had more time to prepare and get in a full training camp that the result would have gone differently. It appeared a rematch wasn't going to be in the cards as Usman had stopped Burns in the third round at UFC 258 on Feb. 13 and Masvidal looked to be heading toward a fight with Colby Covington. Everything changed, though, when Usman called out Masvidal to run it back.

Masvidal feels Usman only wanted to face him because he's perhaps the biggest draw outside of Conor McGregor, considering UFC 251 did a reported 1.3 million pay-per-view buys. However, the champion doesn't fully agree with that sentiment. Can Masvidal prove UFC 251 was a fluke or can Usman show why he's the best welterweight in the world?DAZN News will have live coverage of UFC 261 starting at 10 p.m. ET.

Hall def. Weidman via TKO at 0:17 of the first round. The opening moment of the fight and Weidman threw a hard leg kick to Hall’s knee. Hall checked the kick and Weidman's leg shattered and Weidman‘s leg crumbled as he fell to the canvas.
