Kush’s plans to flee Walford definitely didn’t go as planned.EastEnders spoilers follow.EastEnders has aired a shocking and brutal twist for Kush Kazemi.Viewers knew that Davood Ghadami would be leaving the BBC One soap this week, in the aftermath of Kush grassing on the Mitchells and Shirley Carter over their involvement in last year’s heist. However, his plan to flee Walford actually turned deadly when serial killer Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith) caught up with him before his planned escape and pushed him in front of a moving train. The episode saw Gray becoming suspicious of Whitney when he saw her posting a letter at the Fowler house late at night.
With Phil Mitchell already warning him to contain Kush, Gray decided to follow the couple.Whitney and Kush first said goodbye to Martin Fowler, since they’d be taking little Arthur along with them to Dubai.”New life, you and her.
Promise me, you won’t look back,” Martin said, with the two sharing a tearful goodbye. As he left, Kush demanded that Martin ‘cover himself with police’ by blaming him completely for escaping with young Arthur.”Best mate I ever had,” Kush looked back and assured Martin.Whitney and Kush then headed off to the tube station with Arthur, where Kush promised her they’d return to Walford “once things calmed down”.
Whitney then left Kush alone to take Arthur to the loo. That’s when Gray jumped out of the shadows, insisting that Kush had made Whitney lie to him.
Gray then put it together that Kush and Whitney wouldn’t be coming back after all.”You.
You are ruining her life,” Gray insisted as he stepped up to Kush.
“She’s everything to me! She’s my life!”Gray then grabbed Kush, leading to a tussle that saw Gray fall onto the tracks with a train speeding towards him.
Kush offered his hand to pull Gray up.The sinister lawyer took the boost, but then shoved Kush down onto the tracks just in time for him to be run over and killed by the train.
Gray pulled up his hoodie and walked away, seemingly with no one having witnessed his latest murder. While these horrific scenes were the end of Kush in Walford, Davood Ghadami thankfully won’t be away from the BBC for long — he has already landed a new gig as Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon Eli Ebrahimi in Holby City, starting later this year.EastEnders airs the shocking fall-out on Tuesday (April 20) on BBC One.Digital Spy now has a newsletter – sign up to get it sent straight to your inbox.Read more EastEnders spoilers on our dedicated homepageWant up-to-the-minute soaps news, spoilers and gossip on your social feeds?
