Welsh boxer Liam Williams attempts to become WBO middleweight champion of the world tonight as he fights unbeaten Demetrius Andrade for his title in Florida.

It's the biggest night of Williams' life as he looks to upset the odds against one of the most highly-rated fighters on the planet.

The American has won all of his 19 fights, while Williams has lost twice to Liam Smith in back-to-back defeats at light middleweight.

Here's what you need to know about the fight.

Although the fight is being held in Florida, it is being staged to suit a UK audience, with the main event expected to begin around 11pm.

The undercard fights will begin from 8pm UK time.

Tonight's action is not being shown on Sky Sports or Sky Box Office.

Instead it will be streamed online and through TVs by DAZN.

Subscriptions are available for £1.99 via the DAZN website.

Carlos Gongora vs Christopher Pearson

Mahammadrasul Majidov vs Andrey Fedosov

Movladdin Biyarslanov vs Israel Mercado

Otha Jones III vs Jorge David Castaneda

Alexis Espino vs Ty McLeod

Aaron Aponte vs Javier Martinez

There's no doubt the American is the favourite, but Williams thinks he has a very good chance..

“It is a massive opportunity for me, and I really can’t wait to get my chance on Saturday night to prove I’m the best at 160lbs," he said.

"I’m very excited and can’t wait to get my hands on him this Saturday.

“Not to get it twisted, I do respect him, he’s a great fighter and obviously three-time world champion in two different weight divisions, what’s not to respect?

"I’d be a bit of a fool to not think he’s any good wouldn’t I, but I see things, weaknesses that I can exploit, I’m fully confident I’m going to do that Saturday night and not just going to win but win in devastating fashion."

He’s held the WBO middleweight belt since 2018 and has successfully defended it three times, most recently with a victory over Luke Keeler in January 2020.
