DORTMUND, Germany (AP) — Pep Guardiola shared an emotional moment with goalscorer Phil Foden as Manchester City ended its run of failure in the Champions League quarterfinals Wednesday, beating Borussia Dortmund 2-1 for a 4-2 aggregate win.

Jude Bellingham scored to put Dortmund on course for an upset win before City hit back through a penalty by Riyad Mahrez and Foden’s goal.

Manchester City will aim to keep its season sparkling Wednesday by advancing to the UEFA Champions League semifinals, but a plucky Borussia Dortmund side stands in its way.

The two clubs will square off at 3 p.m.

ET April 14 in the second leg of a quarterfinal matchup with Man City holding a 2-1 lead on aggregate.

Galavision will air the match to audiences in North America, and you’ll be able watch online through several streaming services.

Man City, the runaway leader in the English Premier League, was the home team in the first leg of the quarterfinal tilt and snatched a 2-1 win behind goals from Kevin De Bruyne in the 19th minute and Phil Foden in the 90th.

Marco Reus scored for Dortmund in the 84th minute, appearing to send the game toward a draw before Foden’s late tally.

Away goals stand as the first tiebreaker in Champions League play, so Dortmund can pull off the upset Wednesday either by scoring at least two more goals than Man City or by claiming a 1-0 victory.

Erling Haaland, a 20-year-old star striker, gives Dortmund confidence though the team sits in fifth place in the German Bundesliga and entered as heavy underdogs to Man City.

Man City remains the favorite in the Champions League and has realistic hopes of winning four trophies in the 2020-21 season; coach Pep Guardiola’s team just needs to get through Dortmund first to join Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain and the winner of the Liverpool-Real Madrid matchup in the semifinals.

To watch all the Champions League action for the rest of the season, consider signing up for a free trial to fuboTV or Paramount+.
