Former Algerian government clerk Youssef Sahiri appeared in clips of an upcoming series that will be shown during the coming month of Ramadan on Algerian television.

This comes a few months after Youssef Sahiri was dismissed from his position as state clerk in charge of cinematographic industry.

The former Algerian state writer, Youssef Sahiri, is participating in the series “Al-Ayyam”, which is shown on state television during the month of Ramadan, with the participation of the artist Kenza Morsli.

And according to what Algerian news websites reported, the former minister, who held his ministry from January 2020 until last February, will appear in a different form, as he dyed his hair yellow.

Al-Sahiri was sacked and the ministry was canceled last February, in the context of reforms and changes made by the Algerian president, Abdel Majid Tebboune.

The young actor was born in the Laghouat region on June 21, 1985, he graduated from the Higher Institute of Performing and Audiovisual Arts and began practicing theater at the age of nine.

After completing his university studies, he graduated as a state engineer in electronics specializing in devices in 2011, and he also won the best actor award at the conclusion of the Meknes International Film Festival in Morocco, for his role in the movie “Blood of Wolves”.

Al-Sahiri said that his political responsibility prevented him from participating in cinematic works outside Algeria, and that he had received offers in this field and refused to participate in them
