British YouTube star KSI couldn’t stop laughing as he reacted to rival Jake Paul’s press conference bust-up with former MMA fighter Ben Askren, and said he can’t wait to see the American ‘get flattened’.

Things got a bit fiery between Paul and Askren on Friday night when the pair faced off ahead of their boxing match.

After stepping up the mind-games during the press conference, things turned ugly when they came face-to-face for the cameras.

After posing for photos, Askren dismissed his rival’s attempts of intimidation – ‘the champion’s here baby’ – by humiliating Paul with a facepalm.

The YouTuber reacted by aiming a body jab at his turned opponent, before shoving him in the back.

That didn’t appear to bother former professional fighter Askren one bit, though, which led to a hysterical reaction to KSI on social media.

Laughing at the footage of the incident, the Brit accused Paul of ‘slapping Askren on the arse’, and said he he ‘can’t wait’ to see his online rival ‘f***ing flattened’ in the ring.

Speaking on Instagram stories, KSI said: “I’m dead! Ben literally put his hand in Jake’s face and didn’t care about him, Jake is like ‘hey, yo, what?’ and slapped his arse!

“He slapped his arse or gave him a body punch, but either way Ben didn’t even f***ing flinch.

“Then Jake puts his whole might into that push and he hardly moved Ben! I’m dead man!

“I can’t wait to see Jake get f***ing flattened.”

KSI has history with the Paul brothers, having beaten Jake’s older brother Logan in their notorious bout that was live streamed on YouTube in 2019.

Jake Paul will take on Askren in the boxing ring on April 17, in the latest in a number of celebrity fights that have grown in popularity over the past few years.

Askren fought three times in the UFC before announcing his retirement from MMA, defeating Robbie Lawler in controversial circumstances and then losing to Jorge Masvidal and Demian Maia.

Jake has previously faced and beaten fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib in 2020 and professional basketball player Nate Robinson, who he fought as part of the undercard for the Mike Tyson vs.

Roy Jones Jr.

exhibition match.

After drawing and then losing against KSI, Logan will next face undefeated boxing legend Floyd Mayweather, which has been delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Pauls are known for their online trash talk, and Jake ramped it up in person on Friday night as he video called UFC star Masvidal, who famously knocked Askren out in five seconds at UFC 239 and ridiculed his former rival.

But Askren had the last laugh as he teased the 24-year-old social media star about ‘living in the shadow’ of his older brother, before ridiculing his group of friends and entourage at the event, saying: “Look at all your cheerleaders, man, it’s so embarrassing’.

Jake Paul just couldn't resist

Then, it got physical between Paul and Askren.

Jake Paul just couldn't resist.

During a press conference to promote his April 17 boxing bout with Ben Askren, Paul FaceTimed Askren's most notorious opponent — none other than Jorge Masvidal.

"Hey, it's your dad calling in, look," Paul said to Askren on the press conference stage Friday, holding up his cellphone to show Masvidal.

Of course, "Gamebred" memorably finished Askren in five seconds with a flying knee back at UFC 239 in July 2019.

“Are you still alive?” Masvidal said toward Askren, as Paul held his cellphone up to the microphone.

“Tell him I like them flip-flops.”

Added Paul with a laugh: "He's still alive.

Don't worry, I'm going to finish him off."

Part of the press conference also had Paul calling Askren a "p—y ass bitch," while Askren vowed that he could "do a homicide" on the YouTube sensation if he wanted to.

Although the trash talk was expected, things got physical when Askren palmed Paul's face following their staredown.

Paul retaliated by shoving Askren in the back, before the two were quickly separated.

Paul, 24, is 2-0 as a boxer, including his infamous knockout of Nate Robinson in November, having slept the former NBA player and turning him into an instant meme.

Askren, 36, enters the boxing bout having lost to Masvidal and Demian Maia in July and October 2019, respectively, before exiting the UFC and retiring from MMA.
