England kick off their quest for World Cup glory this evening as they take on San Marino in their opening qualifier.

Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions will be eyeing a successful European Championship this summer but before that, they’ll be focused on their three World Cup qualifiers this international break.

England face San Marino, Albania and Poland in Group I and Southgate will be keen to learn plenty about his players ahead of a busy couple of years.

England host minnows San Marino on Thursday and will want to put in a confidence-boosting display at Wembley.

The match will give Southgate the chance to try things out ahead of the biggest tests to come and has an exciting-looking squad to pick from.

This Group I qualifier will get under way at 7:45pm on Thursday, March 25.

Full coverage from Wembley will be live on talkSPORT, with our pre-match build-up starting at 7pm.

Mark Saggers will be your host and commentary will come from Jim Proudfoot and Stuart Pearce.

Bukayo Saka will miss the match against San Marino as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury.

The Arsenal winger remains part of the squad but is undergoing assessment at his club, with the hope of being available for the fixtures with Albania and Poland.

Marcus Rashford has not trained with the rest of the squad as he continues to work indoors to rehabilitate a foot injury sustained in Manchester United’s 1-0 win against AC Milan in the Europa League last Thursday.

England squad

Gareth Southgate praised revitalised England trio Jesse Lingard, Luke Shaw and John Stones as they re-joined the Three Lions squad

He said: “There’s never been any question in our mind about the quality of all three players.

All have had difficult times really, mainly due to injury.

“Jesse, of the three, you’d have to say is a little bit more fortunate to be in.

I think Luke and John have performed over a period of time.

“We’ve got injuries in the attacking areas that have opened up an opportunity for Jesse, but I have to say his performances for West Ham have been excellent.

He’s got four goals in six games.

“We know he can perform at the level, we know he’s been a really good member of our squad, both in terms of his general link-up play but he’s scored goals for England as well.

“There’s no doubting his quality.

As I said, ideally, you’d be saying, you know ‘you need to do it for a little bit longer’ but that’s not been the option this time around.

“We’ve lost the likes of Jack Grealish, Jadon Sancho and then one or two others that have been performing well – Harvey Barnes, James Maddison – so there is a space there.

“We trust Jesse and we think he can play a big part in these three games.

“In the end you have to give players a lot of credit when they bounce back from disappointment, when they come back from difficult injuries.

“When they regain form, very often that’s been a lot of soul searching, a lot of hard work on the training pitch and adjustment in their preparation and their lives.

“And I think Luke and John, in particular, in this squad deserve huge credit for that.”

England – San Marino.

Forecast for the World Cup qualification match (March 25, 2021)

We offer a forecast for the World Cup qualification match, in which England will host the San Marino team on March 25.

Will the guests be able to perform with dignity? – the answer is in our material.

England
The 1966 World Champion is preparing for Euro 2020, and today’s match will help Gareth Southgate determine the squad for the upcoming squad.

England took first place in Group A, ahead of the Czech Republic, Kosovo, Bulgaria and Montenegro.

The “ three lions ” ended their entry into the League of Nations unsuccessfully , where in six matches they got three wins and one draw, which brought England to the third position.

Today’s hosts unexpectedly lost to Denmark and Belgium, after the defeat from the latter (0: 2), the team defeated Iceland at home.

San Marino
The smallest country in the world has the smallest achievements on football fields.

The national team includes players from the local league and several footballers from the minor leagues of Italy.

In the selection for Euro 2020, ” Shining ” has traditionally taken the last place in the group, where it lost all the fights and was able to score one goal, which is a success for the team.

In the League of Nations, San Marino achieved two draws, but the team’s rivals were Liechtenstein and Gibraltar.

In the last two fights, Franco Varella’s charges drew 0: 0 with their modest opponents.

All Football Predictions

Statistics bets
Correct score 7: 0 winlineru
England have scored fewer than five goals in individual matches and conceded only once

Goal from 1 to 15 minutes: yes melbet
England have scored in 15 minutes in 2 of their last 4 head-to-head matches

Each Half Over (1.5) Goals parimatchru

Forecast
Today the guests have no chances to offer serious resistance to the hosts at Wembley, and entering the main arena will be an event for all the players of the dwarf state.

In our opinion, England starts off traditionally powerfully and will be able to secure a landslide victory.

Our prediction is the victory of England with a handicap (-7) goals and we bet on this on the line of BC Winline with odds of 1.92

A goal for San Marino is a huge national holiday, but this team is unlikely to score for today’s hosts.

In our opinion, today we are waiting for the theater of one actor.

Second Bet – England To Score Over 7 Goals In 1.79
