Researchers at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in the United States have developed a computer program to improve the efficiency of stereo printing machines, which helps in reducing the cost and wasted materials for companies working in the field of assembly manufacturing.

The mechanical engineering at the university said:

Assembly manufacturing is very exciting and includes many benefits, but accuracy and consistency are of great importance in this field, as the parts made in this way must be identical as possible, whether they make 10 parts or 10 million parts.

The new program allows for rapid and automatic measurements of the parts to be produced according to batch manufacturing techniques, a process that usually takes time and money, and it also allows for increased precision of machines during manufacture.

“Factories that rely on stereoscopic printing are increasing in various parts of the world, and our program helps In ensuring that the production process is accurate, coherent, and cost-effective.

”The new program tracks the accuracy of production during the manufacturing process, the distribution of tasks to the printers within each plant, as well as the location of each A part under manufacture inside the printer.

This process is carried out by means of scanning and data analysis techniques.

The program records the parts that have been precisely manufactured, and identifies the printers and settings that achieve the best results during the industry.
